What We Do.
Our L.E.A.D.S (Leadership, Empowerment, Awareness, Discovery, Service) after-school program is a space where teens can connect, and inspire each other to question how they show up in the world and how they show up for themselves.
Through interactive speakers, presenters, and activities your child will work through these 5 core pillars:
— > Leadership: Teens will learn the importance of leading themselves, and leading others. They will engage in activities that will help them explore and build their leadership skills.
— > Empowerment: Teens will learn how to shift their negative thoughts, and navigate challenging times, empowering them to make healthy choices, and love themselves and others in spite of life’s hardships.
— > Awareness: Teens will become more self-aware, identify their core values, and learn the what, the why, and the how of setting healthy boundaries.
— > Discovery: Teens will discover how to develop meaningful relationships with themselves, others, and the community.
— > Service: Teens will create, plan, and implement their own service projects, as well as volunteer their time with other local nonprofits and various populations.
The program will end with a final presentation of what your teen has learned about themselves, others, and the service project they created and implemented.
